The Relationship Tarot Spread

Relationship tarot is actually a specific seven card spread that is used to tell you about your relationships.  Some times you will find a tarot reader that will use a relationship tarot spread to tell you about your relationship with your mother, sister, brother, father, significant other, or whom ever.  As with many ancient things we have to remember that relationship doesn't just mean your partner and that it can mean other things.

Although typically when we talk about relationship we are talking about a significant other but it's a good idea to keep in mind that it may mean other things in case you find yourself sitting in front of a tarot reader who is using this spread to tell you about your brother.

So this is how the relationship tarot works.  You will deal the cards out in a H form.  Three cards down one side, three down the other, and one in the middle for a total of seven cards all together.  In the relationship tarot spread you will need to be sure to put the cards down in the following order:

1. First card goes on the top left and it will represent how you see yourself.
2. Second card goes on the top right and it will represent how you see your partner.
3. Third card goes on the middle left and it will represent how you feel about your partner or other person.
4. Forth card goes in the center and it will represent the present situation or challenges of the relationship.
5. Fifth card goes on the middle right and it will represent what stands between you and your partner or other person.
6. Sixth card goes on the bottom left and it will represent how your partner or other person sees you.
7. Seventh card goes on the bottom right and it will represent what your partner or other person feels about you.

These may seem very simple but when you start laying the cards out in the relationship tarot you will see how the meanings of the tarot cards and their position in the relationship tarot spread really start to form a clear picture for you.  Some times when reading the tarot you need to look at the position of the card, the meaning of the tarot card and the picture and colors on the card to paint a better picture of what your reading.
